DePauw University Hosted the 2006 Midwest Celebration of Women in Computing (MidWIC)Conference (September, 2006) DePauw University hosted the 2006 Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges (CCSC) Midwest conference on September 29 and 30, 2006.  The conference brought together computer science faculty and staff from many small colleges and departments throughout the Midwest, so that they could discuss teaching methodology, curricular issues, and other topics related to teaching computer science. Several DePauw faculty members and students attended (see photo). There was also a student poster session, where students presented computer science research results, and a student programming contest, where student teams from various colleges competed against each other.
